CUTE CHALKBOARD SIGN FOR MERMAID PARTIES! ♥ If you are a Professional Mermaid, mother/father of a child who wants a mermaid-themed party, or a bride looking to have a dreamy Fairytale Wedding, then this DIY chalk sign is for you! You don't need very much artistic skill, crafting experience or materials to follow along with this easy-to-follow tutorial. You can feel free to make your chalk board sign dark, semi-Gothic and fit for a siren, like mine, or change up the colors to match the colors of your party theme or Silicone Mermaid Tail.

PROFESSIONAL MERMAIDS:
If you are a professional mermaid, this sign is PERFECT for busking and for events that allow self-promotion and tips! Not only can you use a chalk marker to write a little bit about yourself to minimize questions (and prompt people to take action) but there is also a spot to hold your business cards on this sign! Personally, I like to include my name (Mermaid Phantom), a cute prompt that invites guests to leave a tip (with an arrow pointing to the tip jar or treasure chest) and a little bit of text that briefly explains what I do and where people can find more information/videos (this points to a business card). If you are swimming (and your location allows for busking), you can have the sign out in an area near your mertender while you swim. He/she can direct people to the sign to get more information about who you are, what you do and where they can get more information. This is GREAT marketing and is also an opportunity to make some money IF viewers decide to leave a tip. ♥ Alternatively, you can use this sign to advertise the price of your services if you require payment for pictures or autographs at an event where you are mermaiding. MERMAID THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTIES:
If you are hosting a mermaid-themed birthday party or ANY sort of mermaid (or siren) themed party, then this sign will work great for you as well! Consider writing "Happy Birthday to our Little Mermaid (or insert name)." You can also put a cute mermaidy quote on the chalkboard too, such as "Mermaid Kisses and Starfish Wishes to the Birthday Child," or "We are so glad you mer-made it to the party! Please take a party-favor (ect.)." If you have any party favors at your bash, you can set them next to the sign and use it to prompt guests to "grab a wand," or take whatever fun treat you have. This is PERFECT for Halloween parties or to set outside your door to direct kids to candy when you're out Trick-or-Treating! ♥

FAIRYTALE WEDDING SIGN IDEAS:
